This week will determine if Europe is a possibility for us.

I don't really know what to expect from these two games. We could easily win both, we could easily lose both, the most likely scenario is probably that we get 1 win. Mentality has been a big issue in these games and we have lacked consistency.

Personally feel its an important game in terms of mentality and focus. Fantastic result past time out, but the team need to be on it and show the same desire for a game which won't have the same billing.

That's no disrespect to Saints, they're a more than capable side om their day, but its not the history laden Derby, is it?

I think we need 8 wins from 14 games.

The faster we get to that, the faster things become interesting...
Very doable, we have a history of doing well from around 10~12 games from the end of the season, usually there's little left to play for but this year has been different. Big effort needed from everyone we have 14 cup finals.. there should be no need for Coleman to apologise for lacklustre performance for the rest of the season if players can't get motivated while champions league remains a possibility then I give up.

Previous seasons have been defined by the derbies; good up until the first fixture, good after the second fixture, and mediocre-rubbish in between.

Let's hope we now go on a ruthless winning streak that sees us push the top four ambition into the final fixtures. Anything can happen on the home straight

Though if we win tonight we are 6 points behind Leicester with a game in hand.
It really is time for this group of players to show if they have the stomach for it.

Strap them to one of these if they don’t!

I think realistically tonight will be the big telling point in regards to the season.

Simple fact is our home form has not been good enough. The worst part is, all the losses (excluding United), are against teams we should be beating at home (Leeds, Newcastle, West Ham and Fulham). If we're making any serious push for Europe, we need to turn a more than generous home run into wins, and the rest will flow.

Our remaining home fixtures are Southampton, Burnley, Crystal Palace, Tottenham, Villa, Sheffield United and Wolves. That's two teams in the top 10.

Our away games, are a lot more trickier, but we've proven this season that we can more than hold our own away from home. I'd argue that the away games will be more crucial also, as we face a lot more contenders around us.

Remaining away fixtures are: West Brom, Chelsea, Brighton, Aston Villa, Arsenal, West Ham and Man City.

You can hope others slip up, but not losing to the contenders away and fixing home form is massive. Personally, CL is a step too far for us, but Europa is a big, big possibility. Just don't let us down Everton, please!

We will make it to Europe, think I'm sure of it, in Carlo we trust.

Two games tonight with ramifications for Everton for me.

Leicester away to Burnley, who are missing, Barnes, Maddison and Justin.
Villa away to Sheffield Utd.

Leicester lose, and it makes the Top 4 a little more achieveable.
Villa lose, and it keeps teams around us down.

Thursday is significant for so many reasons, hopefully Fulham and draw will go nicely with an Everton win.

I reckon there is a number of twists in the tail yet to come , teams going thru good and bad patches , Injuries have a major part to play as players feel the strain , its been that type of a season

Hate to say this , but I think we could and have a season to remember
