Just imagine how things will be if he puts in a similar performance this Sunday in the Classico. I think the kid is incredible, but have thought that since I first saw him as a teenager. He's got that something special about him that you very rarely see.

Not looking to degrade Maradonna, but don't understand the "bigging up Messi" part? The boy is unbelievable good and at only 22 he has a lot of time to develop into the greatest player of all time. To call him that at this age would be unfair to all those other legends of the game.

As far as dribbling and finishing are concerned, I'd say he's at least as good as and possibly better than Maradona was at the same age. Do remember that Diego had more vision, was a better passer and had more tricks in his locker though. Imo
At the end of the day, the lad's a joy to watch and there's no debating that
