Its impossible for me to even answer that question without guessing. We would have made a better game of it, with Arteta, Pienaar, Jagielka, Neville and Billy on the pitch, I can safely say that.

AS for Yobo glad to see someone is seeing the light about him. For me with the L money why oh why did we go for Distin and Heittinga. Would rather we had gone for Upson and paid the price or Cahill.

All fit i still think we're as good if not better then anything outside the current top four, from now untill Xmas its all about scraping points if we can get in between 25 - 30 ill be happy. It will take a super human effort in the second half of the season but if we can add an extra player with guile in Jan in midfeild - i think we can be competitive for the top 6.
I dont care what we have to borrow - but cover should be brought in for Pienaar and Arteta there is a massive gaping hole in the team - that shouldnt have been aloud to happen in the summer especially as one of them was always going to be out for at least two months of the season.
I think of a few players i would have went for that could have covered and not cost the earth.

Maybe we would, and then maybe United like they have in the past raised their game to win.
You saw in the 2nd half, we started to play, but the frailities are there again. Jagielka isn't going to solve all our defensive problems. He may well calm the ship, but will he even get straight back in?
Arteta going to come into the middle and Pienaar on the wing, but then we still have to find a home for Fellaini, and Jo.
It's easy for those who believe injuries are our downfall to say so, but where you lot are chiming about that, I am looking at the players on the pitch and the basic errors they are making. They are Premier League footballers who should know better, and perhaps it would be nice to see them see this opportunity and take it, it's almost like they are just keeping the spot warm for when the players get back.
Good old Neiler, once again, I'm in complete agreement.
This season has been enormously frustrating thus far, but I haven't given up hope by any means. We can still turn it around.
This season has been a joke, but im not gonna point fingers at the moment, its unfair I think.
