This club is a joke

04/05 was a terrible run
What did that achieve ultimately? Fourth place is not an achievement for Everton Football Club and the very fact that it was treated as such only proves how good a job the parasites at the top have done in convincing us to just accept and embrace mediocrity.

Hell lets be generous here and say that the 04-05 season taken in isolation can be viewed as a success (let's pretend losing 7-0 at arsenal never happened eh?!). Everything good about that season we thrown away within one mouth of the flowing season when normal service was resumed.

The club is not a joke

It is embarrassingly short of living up to its motto though and has been now for a period measured in decades. It's no wonder people are hacked off.

Defeats of today's Ilk undermine every recovery strategy you can imagine for this club. That match was beamed around the world today. Like the City one before it. Like the streak against Liverpool. The impression of our club that leaves in people's minds matters.

Honestly, why should anyone under the age of 40, particularly overseas, have any reason to think of this club in anything other than pitying terms?

we are supposed to suck these results up as if they don't happen..

transition has a lot to answer for.

Lads chill, can you not see we have a better squad than in years?

Koeman took our squad so far backwards that we were lucky many teams were far worse off than us.
This is possibly our best squad in 5 years but the teams usually below us have caught us up, while the top sides have widened the gap.

Lads need to accept mid table this time around and enjoy the good moments when they come along.

I see that the club has been wollowing in mediocrity for the best part of thirty years and I see absolutely nothing that convinces me that this is likely to change anytime soon. I perfectly chilled thanks, I'm past being angry or even upset. I've just accepted things as they are and refuse to pretend things are fine when it obviously isn't.

Can you not see that sometimes when you try to improve sometimes it takes a few attempts?

4 or more goals conceded since Moyes left:

13/14
0-4 Liverpool (a)
1-4 Arsenal (a)

14/15
3-6 Chelsea (h)
2-5 Dynamo Kiev (a)

15/16
3-4 Stoke (h)
0-4 Liverpool (a)

16/17
0-5 Chelsea (a)

17-18
0-4 United (a)
2-5 Arsenal (h)
1-5 Atlanta (a)
1-4 Southampton (a)
0-4 Tottenham (a)
1-5 Arsenal (a)

18/19
2-6 Spurs (h)

Utter disgrace. There’ll be relegation threatened teams without a record like that. The number of 3-0 losses was huge too.
