He wasn’t even signed as a first choice RB, he’s playing on the opposite side of the pitch, Koeman, Unsworth and Allardyce have all consistently picked him, perhaps we could at least appreciate that he’s trying his best.......

Thought the lad played well last night. Head doesn’t drop unlike a few over the last few weeks. As said in another thread though, that’s possibly because of the additional attacking threat we had

Had no joy getting the game so had the sky lads on, Nicholas and Stelling giving him awful grief.

Nicholas, quite correctly, stating he's never a left back, and Stelling replying that quite a lot of Southampton fans would argue that he's not a right back either.
