Won everything in the air and was linking up really well with Illy before we went backs to the wall, promising signs.

Just needs his goal, which will come, hopefully against the horse punchers.

He was brilliant, getting more confident by the game, if he can start adding a few goals we may actually have a proper striker for the first time in donkeys

In the context of the game he was terrific tonight. Obviously in other games you need to show another side but his work rate was fantastic and he looked like a proper target man.

I’m usually not one for stats , but tonight he won 14 duels in the air , 2 more than anybody else in a PL league game this season. A great effort from him , and we’ve got plenty to work on to ensure he improves.

We play much better when he's in the team. His hold up play and his lay offs are good and he helps our better footballers in the final 3rd as we are keeping the ball better because of him

There's still no real goal threat though.

Needs a goal, but there's a lot to like about him
