2025/26 Thierno Barry

Did the 10 man striker job really well last night. Very rarely did their centre backs have an easy header, maybe not even once. If he didn't win the ball he made sure that we had a chance for the second ball. Tracked back well enough as well. Looked absolutely spent.

So, that is one part complete, now can he be an attacking striker? I think his confidence is now getting there, just needs that goal to settle him down more.
Played well. Not a prolific goalscorer tho

Once he gets his first one; the floodgates will open.

He is going to be a star in the second half of the season.

Vault me!
Needs to get on the same wavelength as Grealish/KDH/Ndiaye in terms of syncing up runs and passes. Few times he made one run and they expected another. It'll come with time - he's now starting to get that aggressive side of his game that was such a feature for him in La Liga

No idea how you've reached that conclusion, especially on the back of a game where he had the sun total of zero chances.

He did his job for the team very well and we should all be pleased with the development he's showing
I am. I will die on that hill about him not being prolific. He played well last night and against Fulham. Not saying hes a bad player. He's shown me nothing to suggest he'll ever be prolific. Not amazingly quick, mobile, or a natural finisher inside/outside the box, from the evidence so far. Maybe his aerial prowess will.get a few goals here and there. Vault me, whatever that means.

I really don't think a 6 foot 4 fella winning headers against Leny Yoro and Luke Shaw is notable. The strange circumstances of the game dicated we kept hoofing the ball. Most premier league teams don't play like that anymore.

Whenever he had the ball in and around the box, with his feet, he was just shrugged off with ease.
