He can jump for a ball and lay off a simple pass, that's about it. That's where it stops.
Pretty sure he was intended to be first choice, or certainly share equal billing. He's another one where I can't quite work out why people want to make out like he's still taking his first steps in the game or we picked him up from Colchester United for £300k. There was a bloke by me in the ground last night saying 'what do you expect him to do, he's a kid playing against 2 international centre halves'. He's three years older than Yoro, who isn't an international centre half at all, and the other one is Harry Maguire, who's 33, hasn't been an international for 2 years, and has been a laughing stock for half his career, it's just bizarre to make out like there's no way we can expect him to cause them a few problems.
He gives it a go but for me he's simply nowhere near the standard required to be a good PL striker.
Weaknesses in all areas of his game - inaccurate passes and clumsy with the ball, not strong enough, not a composed finisher, doesn't necessarily run the channels. It's not his fault and I like the guy but I'm struggling to see why we signed him if I'm honest.
I think there’s truth to both. We create no chances and give poor service to him. He’d no doubt be better, score more goals if we had a more cohesive attacking game plan. Probably true of any striker.Apart from the fact that he is.
Hes got 5 goals from a xg of 5.23 and having 1.1 shots per game.
The lad scores goals. We just dont create chances for him to score.
I can only think of the Sunderland game where hes missed a sitter.
The idea he has to go is ludicrous to me and is just indicative of our ever knee jerk reactionary fan base now.
Striker doesnt score for a few games, he needs selling.
Team losses a game manager needs sacking. Its embarrassing having to read it over and over again. We've just been battling relegation forbthe last 4 years why cant we just back the team for one season
Missed one against Bournemouth too. Keeper spilled a tame shot and he miscued the rebound. I think there will be other examples too.Apart from the fact that he is.

I don’t think anyone could blame him for not scoring, we create nothing. It’s the other parts of the game. Work off the ball, pressing. Yoro could have played in his pjs and slippers last night. He’s so easy to play against. He does have a decent touch I’ll give you that.I feel like I'm existing in a different reality when I believe he was able to carry and link up the ball In a capable way yesterday, he was provided scarce opportunities on goal ,banging in crosses over his head or kicking set piece or set piece into a crowded group of players near the goalkeeper doesn't count either. People just like to moan and be theatrical, bunch of urine soaked babies in here
Think the real clanger was Moyes deciding to go into the season with Beto as our main centre forward. Purple patch last season but he’s miles off it, no surprise the goals have dried up. He’s surely away in the summer. If we're lucky, we might find somebody prepared to take him off us in the summer on a 12-months, no permanent transfer obligation deal where Everton pay 80% of his salary.
If we're lucky. Same goes for Beto.

Name one 18 year old who is starting games as a centre forward in the PLpromising youngster is 17/18 odd to me. Not 23. Just not impressed myself with him, and never have been. Fed up of boring myself saying it. He does not cause the back 4 of most defences to many problems. Moyes has even said at times that Barry needs to do more, some games he actually scored in, he should have been off way before, but feels like Moyes just leaves him on for the sake of it
