Superb??????I feel for the young lad. He was clearly devastated with his performance, but his recent form has been superb.
He scored four goals in five games not so long ago.
They could both do a job at somewhere like Blackpool.....with a saddle on their back.Absolutely sabotaged our season having him and Beto as striking options. I don’t think either start for a single other team in the Prem.
Relative to Beto?Superb??????

Felt bad for him as well. The issue is when he doesn’t score, he doesn’t offer much else. Think he’s a better player than when he first arrived though.I feel for the young lad. He was clearly devastated with his performance, but his recent form has been superb.

I agree, mate. He’s improving. But to be fair and objective, any average striker in any top league easily bags that easy sitter. I like Thierno. Anything offered up today is just an excuse because we’re Blues fans.I feel for the young lad. He was clearly devastated with his performance, but his recent form has been superb.

Agreed. At least when DCL wasn't scoring, he was holding the ball up, bringing others into play and winning aerial challenges.Felt bad for him as well. The issue is when he doesn’t score, he doesn’t offer much else. Think he’s a better player than when he first arrived though.
It’s sad to think that Dom would excel in this group of Ndiaye, George, and KDH. But I guess it’s better to sell too early than too late.Agreed. At least when DCL wasn't scoring, he was holding the ball up, bringing others into play and winning aerial challenges.
Barry is still only a young kid, though. And there's no point pining after a player that didn't want to play for us.
In top 6 with a decent 9Absolutely sabotaged our season having him and Beto as striking options. I don’t think either start for a single other team in the Prem.
In top 6 with a decent 9
Don’t need any DCL revisionism. He hardly got on the pitch, most of the time when he did he wasn’t fully fit, when he was fully fit he was often rubbish with a fat touch and doing that stupid silly slow job he did from side to side putting zero pressure on the ball. He’d also jump ridiculously early for goal kicks so don’t effectively win many at all. He’d have the odd game looking like an absolutely unplayable old school number 9 but they were few and far between.
