2025/26 Thierno Barry

@Hinchcliffe's Corner don't be a child. have some winning mentality. it is a travesty that our fans are now content with barely drawing with mighty Leeds at home.
I hate all this NSNO, winning mentality stuff people like you spout. We all want to win, no one is satisfied. Some of us just aren’t attention seeking misery arses and like celebrating goals/generally being positive instead of looking for things to moan about like a whiny bitch.

How miserable is it to he associated with Everton.

Dire football at home, and when do get something to cheer... you get moaned at.

Give it a bloody rest. Theyre not robots, Barry slotting and celebrating with a smile on his face says to me that hes enjoying playing, and getting better and better.

Not everything is so deep.
If he didn’t do anything, you’d get the same posters having a go that he doesn’t care or is unhappy and wanting to leave etc.

Let the lad be happy when he is in a good run of form and scoring goals.

If he barely celebrated the goal and fired his mates up with his running back it would ve been better, not hard to comprehend this is it

For me, it could have been relief if anything.

Until we scored, we stunk the place out.

Its what I want to see, passion, emotion. It wasnt that long ago, that people were fuming with Morgan Schneiderlin's body language on the pitch.

We should be taking positives from a very poor 70 mins, of our Centre Forward has now scored in 4 of his last 5 games. Well in lad.

Eh? Fans celebrate, you just take the ball and run back.

Arsenal's striker would dance that long for an equaliser v Leeds at home you think?
Arsenal are top of the league. We're not.

Honestly mate, of all the things that are wrong with football in general, and our club in particular, your hot take is that our centre forward that struggled to score goals for 4 months shouldn't be allowed to stand in front of the fans for a few seconds to receive their applause?

There is nothing bigger you could think of to whinge about?

Not my hot take tho. I just said this way I would have liked it more. That post was posted an hour after the match concluded. Nothing against the kid.

I remember Tosun's header v Spurs at Goodison to level the match and Coleman coming up and warning him of the score, calling everybody back

Good old days

Oh yeah, those great Goodison nights of 0 trophies in 30 years. What an oddly niche memory to remember, fair.

I remember the days of enjoying the match, isnt that what we all go for? Then moaning about a brief moment of actual enjoyment 😂

Come on, please tell me youre on the windup.

The young player who is new to the toughest league in the world seems to be settling in after half a season. Can’t imagine anyone was expecting that may happen, I for one have been caught by surprise and now feel a tad foolhardy for demanding he fulfills my expectations of a prime Everton striker from his first minute in a royal blue shirt.

I vow to learn from this buddies.
