2025/26 Thierno Barry

I don't think his dodgy shoulder is going to fix his lack of ability with his feet.
Might make him more competitive with opposition CBs. Right now they have a cushy 90+ minutes. Not guaranteed obviously but at least he'll get the chance to show if he has it in him.

I think he's improving a lot. He was never supposed to be 1st choice he was supposed to be one for the future. He's clearly not ready to lead a prem league forward line. I suspect he'll leave and become half decent somewhere in Europe a la lookman and kean

Not sure i agree at all on the "He's improving a lot" bit. I just want him to be able to look bothered and try. Not lose the ball when he actually has it, and just let players go past like he is not there . so much wrong with his game fo me. People still act like he is about 18. You have other young players for other teams who come in and do the business right away. Not always off course

He's deffo not a prem striker but he has potential in my opinion. Not the player we need as our 9 right now. I don't agree he isn't bothered and doesn't try. But it's all opinions I guess

If he was never supposed to be first choice, it was a weird signing as Moyes very clearly has never really liked Beto.

I suspect he was meant to be first choice after a few weeks of getting used to the Prem (which is what happened)

Of course he was meant to be first choice. Clearly, he was also meant to be one of Angus's two-thirds of all failed transfers.
