Beto probably our worst player this season by a distance.
Agree with the bit that neither are good enough, but Barry offers so much more than Beto in my opinion
Not for me, Barry is far far worse.
He is weaker, works less, has less instincts in the box and has had far more opportunities. Beto is Marcus bent bad, crap but you might get something back now and again. Barry is Brett Angell bad
I dont think he offers anything at all mate, would be lovely if by miracle he came good but right now he looks like one of the worst prem footballers I've seen

I just disagree on pretty much every count tbh except for I guess strength. Barry got a long way to go but looks far closer to a footballer than Beto does to my eyes.
Its essentially which turd can you polish up more nicely, have to say though mate from what I've seen Barry is hilariously bad.

Both of those pairs of players we have to play one or the other though. You can say you don't want to see either but its just a bit redundant really, considering there's no one else to play.
To me there's obvious reasons to play Barry over Beto and Dibling over McNeil. Two players that could improve and develop vs 2 players that can't.

I've said before on this thread, for me Barry is a mixed bag currently. The bad stuff is pure slapstick though so I think people tend to ignore the stuff he does well.
He has capabilities that Beto doesn't to influence our play in build up, quite a few goals we've scored this season start with Barry holding up or carrying the ball.
