I'd say the most likely thing is Beto gets moved on and another striker is brought in to lead the line with Barry dropping to second choice.

In my eyes that's not even enough. Players get injured, and the last thing we need is to be left with Barry as the only option. We desperately need two new strikers by the end of the next transfer window in the summer.

I'd be very surprised if anyone paid him what we are paying him ....and no I have no idea what his salary is.
They both need moving on and two new strikers brought in - not going to happen though.
We can`t just be buying strikers, who don`t fit the way we play though.
As it stands, I can`t can`t think of one single striker who`d flourish in the current system, as other than set pieces and corners, there`s zero service at all.
Only my opinion, but a lot will depend on whether Moyes is going to be replaced in the Summer, as we can`t be saddled with a striker(s) that a potential new manager doesn`t want, which is why a loan would make a lot more sense at this stage,
Actually found someone linking this highlight real in SUPPORT of him coming good. Like a competition winner! Can't head, can't pass, can't trap a ball, how have we found someone that plays like Beto but is actually worse than Beto?

He's not the best I know, but looking at that video he's a level above Beto, but one thing is glaringly obvious he nowhere ever gets enough into the oppositions box, to look like scoring a goal. And whoever our scout is who picked, Maupay, Barry, Beto, I sincerely hope they've been sacked ! I have no faith if they haven't that they will get anyone better.
That cross on 49 seconds made me burst out laughing at the match on Saturday, it just summed him up, hit and hope looped ball to nobody; and the gimp who made the video included it as a highlight
I agree that he was better than Beto on Saturday, but that bar is the lowest it’s probably ever been for a striker. Overall, they’re both as bad as each other with Barry having time on his side as the only real better metric, although he is 23 and not 19 so the chances of him improving are very slim.
It’s comical how poor they both are, I can’t believe we’ve wasted over 50mil on them.
