Additionally, the mean value of a player is, more often than not, correlated with their ability. In terms of a being a Prem player, I'd say more yes than no.

João Pedro cost £55m and has scored six league goals. Woltemade cost £65m and scored seven. Broja cost £20m and scored 1. Delap has scored none.

Cunha has scored three league goals, costing £62m. I could keep going through, although I've hopefully gave enough examples to support my point.

Whilst he's far from the finished article, and we need him to develop further, for the price we paid his return is fairly comparable with others.

Glad he got another, and Im hoping it sets him off. That said, I think its obvious we need a primary while he learns and improves. Hes had two very good finishes, so it seems hes good in behind facing goal. Everything else however has been dreadful. If he scores every week no one will care, but thats a LOT of pressure.

I think my main issue is just how he gives the ball away so freely, under little pressure. We certainly cant afford that against a good team, and not when the likes of Myko and co are already doing it.

If you watch the goal again in slow motion he was lucky to get away with a clumsy first touch. I always want players we sign to do well (obviously) but I honestly don't think there's anything about his game that'll give him a long career in the Prem. You're right he isn't terrible in the air but when he wins a header it's rare it finds a team mate and at 6'5" he should be doing far better.

Jep, that's a rare exception of bargain. But you pay a few 10m for a young promising striker like Barry, Beto and Joao Pedro for example that had a double digit output in a top 5 league usually.
