He needs an easier league where the pace of the game is slower, the defenders are average and he has more time on the ball.

Nowhere near good enough and Beto came on and looked even more useless which means we're just back to square 1 and hoping Barry might look like a striker again next week.

I agree mate. Continuing with the 2 poorest strikers in the league week in week out is just ridiculous. He should have done this a few weeks ago tbh. It has been obvious for ages.

Prefer Beto by a mile to Barry. For one for that reason (At least he trys and is not half hearted) and others.

IMO the experiment of starting him up front is done. He’s been really poor overall.

Moyes alluded to frustration in the window, targets not wanting to come. Think he knew Barry was raw and needed to develop, although not this much and the plan would have been to ease him in with little pressure.

Unfortunately his decision to keep Beto instead of DCL massively backfired and Beto has been really poor. He’s had to start Barry way more than he’d have liked to.

When he signed the Blueroom did a podcast with a Villarreal fan to get their view on him - that didn’t fill me with confidence. He was surprised Everton went for him, paid the price they did and alluded to him being very raw but suggested he might develop into a good player. It’s not like he was tearing up la liga and they were gutted to see him go.

Too upright when he's trying to trap the ball with a defender on his back. Needs to get a wider base, he's 6'5", use it.
