Strikers pull defenders and make space. It will be worked on at every club in training this week, even U-10s

Of course players movement pull defenders out of position. You're hardly revealing the A-Z of coaching. Barry hasnt got it in him to pull a goal out like dewsbury hall did the other night. Movement or no movement. He hasnt even shown he can try to attempt it. I wouldnt even mind that. If he dropped his shoulder and went at defenders and missed. Its a start.

Honestly cant believe what i read on here at times lol.
Watch any random game and you'll see most forwards do this. It doesnt always result in a goal but you see it all the time.
Why are Everton forwards exempt from this lol.

It’s mad. £30 million and you are only expected to score when a much better player puts the ball on a plate for you 5 yards out.

Because it is rare to see strikers score them, usually midfielders

Im not bashing the lad. I just roll my eyes when i read whats he supposed to do if its not being layed on a plate for him. Er. Probably what most standard strikers do now and then. Create a chance for yourself. If i wanted to put the boot in id say you couldnt get more layed on a plate than sunderland and he nearly put it out the stadium.
Its an Everton forum. Hes a striker bought and if he doesnt score in december thats half the season gone without a goal.
In what team in any league in the world would that not be a discussion with its fanbase.
