Obviously, everyone here should use this forum as they like so this is my own opinion: but when you respond to a known racist/misogynist troll who’s only goal is to pretend that there are two-sides to a hateful story, or to pretend that their own racist/hateful/misogynist opinion is equal to yours, you are only giving them more fuel. Their only goal is to sow seeds of hatred, to lower human decency, and to make sure they normalize racism, sexism, and classism. This is their only objective. And they do it solely for amusement, or to cosset or justify some latent early life trauma; but most surely not for an adult exchange of ideas that would be considered enlightened, moral, or factual. They act in bad-faith and have no genuine stake in humanity, no genuine faith in human decency, and are not interested in any rational debate. They are worthless, ignorable, and most definitely not a patient-to-cured (certainly not on a footie forum!) with respect to the myriad problems we face as a species.

I also believe that the antagonists/ contrarians are in fact multis. Their writing styles are to me eerily similar and they don’t just exist in this thread.
