Age is but a number, i've seen old before their time 30 year olds and young at heart 60 year olds. Its not the number on your cake its the way you choose to live those numbers.

At the same age I told mine that I went to school by horse and cart and their grandad had to ride a dinosaur. It's great fun telling outrageous whoppers to kids that age.

Don't care about age tbh. I'm nearly 30, I have a good job and a mortgage yet I don't feel grown up at all.

I work in London and see people my age in their awful suits, talking about how much they love their company etc thinking they are great, it makes me feel sick and confirms I will wear trainers all my life and will never properly shave.

Very much this.

I'm past 40 but my life circumstances mean that I don't feel the burden of age. Happily married, mortgage-free, have a beard and doing a job I enjoy rather than shaving every day and chasing a salary doing a job I hated. The sports team I coach seem to think I'm in my early thirties. In light of all that, a number on a birthday card is never, ever going to cause me a moment's concern.
