The word communism can be replaced by fascism in todays world.
If you look at communism under Stalin or Mao, roughly 100 million ordinary people were murdered by those regimes, it smooths the way for psychopaths to take power under the guise of a proletarian take-over.
The con-job that communism equates to "the benefit of the workers" is still believed to this day despite it being common knowledge what happened between 1917 to 1980s.

Communism is more of a theory though isn't it. I don't think any one on the left is asking for Mao or Stalin. More of the socialist ideals of communism

It's a bit hard when they're not in power.

Even when in power they've done very little to help minority groups / working class (more than the Tories but its hardly a difficult task).

As I've said for a long time now the best Government in probably our lifetime was under Blair - we never had it so good but many on the Left despise the man and many of his domestic policies.

If you don't believe that white privilege ever existed then you should read some books.

You have been brain-washed into believing that "white privilege" means anyone white. The truly privileged - Eton, Rugby etc are laughing all the way to the bank while people like you point the finger at people who were press-ganged and subjugated for generations.
I`ll bet you even think "minorities" are anyone who isn`t white when the fact is whites make up about 1/8 of the global population.
