He's trying to sound smart about something as simple as linear regression and seems to imply that climate scientists only use first order linear regression to model climate, and that they haven't considered things like time-series models or non-linear models or sensitivity to initial conditions, etc. etc. Not gonna jump into this WUM's universe.

It was how it was presented in the Guardian, as woke scare tactic / climate alarmism and it was a linear regression model. I’m fully aware they use other models results of which are below:

They even admit themselves their models are poo. If this is the evidence you want to use to make me stop eating meat, install a heat pump, drive an electric car, trash energy sector not use coal beneath us then you can bore off. I’m not interested until you have models that actually work, which spoiler alert they never will.


What’s climate adjustments cost to me about 50k? 10-15k for a heat pump, Corsa is 18k new electric one is 30k that’s 20-25k increase right off the bat. With a modest car.

They’re doing way too much too quickly and have no evidence to do so.
