The above doesn’t even take into account how ludicrous it is having terms like people who bleed and chest feeders. The saddest part is there is a backlash to this stupidity which makes the situation worse, well done wokey pokeys.

It’s this sort of crap that lead to John Lewis CEO being hired for box ticking of CEOs instead of people having equality of opportunity then being there on merit.

Her record below, unsurprising given she was vastly under qualified for the role.

I'm very concerned about John Lewis' hiring policies now mate. I'm leaning anti-wokery here. Convince me by showing me compelling evidence John Lewis hired her for wokeness and chose her over better, more suitable candidates? Who were the victims of this terrible woke-crime?

My response would be that it isn't a movement, to start with, I see 'Woke' as a way of thinking. In the dictionary definition it is to be aware of social injustice. It is about being accepting of others and all their differences. There are some that take it to a political movement level, that is true, but that is not what the word means. It has been attached to any group in a derogatory manner. I believe that this is indeed because the person using it has no basis for their argument other tan a non descript anger issue, the amount of things you put earlier in the thread was disturbing. Not for being true but how angry you must feel just walking around, if they put up a streetlight in the name of making a park safer to walk in at night, is that also woke, as a brief example. Would you get angry at that street light, that is a sad existence to be angry at such mundane things that are put here to help us all.

In regards to the medical questioning process, do I think that asking a man if he is pregnant is valid? I am not a doctor or in the medical profession so I have no idea on protocol. I have seen some very manly women and vice versa, if I was in transition to become a man, but still with female reproductive organs then I think it would be very valid, if I was a man by birth and a man by gender then I would just answer the question. Science is a wonderful thing and it has made many things possible, so for me it is not impossible for somebody identifying as a man, in the middle or towards the end of transition, to be pregnant. I suppose one other way would be to word the question you want as 'What was your birth sex', maybe that would be the more medical way to put it, and more emotionally sensitive, than just the binary question of man or woman now. It may still make some uncomfortable, like dead naming somebody, but in a medical sense, it may be the middle ground.

In terms, of others name calling you. I haven't seen one post calling you an 'incel', I may have missed it? Was it implied? Only they can say. You also did not just buzz off them, did you. You name called back, things like 'weak and pathetic' and 'bitch'. That is not buzzing off them, that is engaging.

The male sex cannot get pregnant it is not possible, that is where your confusion is. Simply a question of what is your sex negates all confusion over assuming someone’s sex saying stuff like “female reproductive organs”

Asking sex has been tried, tested, and utilised for a long long time. From this question you can then go through questions based on sex that have relevancy.

But you've answered your own question there. Sex and gender have been used interchangeably, so a medical professional asking an ambiguous question could result in making the wrong decision with serious consequences. Simply asking a blunt question like "are you pregnant?" leaves no room for ambiguity. It isn't offensive to ask someone, regardless of their gender. I'm not sure why you are getting so worked up about it.

I took offence so you can’t say that. Also people who bleed, people with overaries all garbage, you mean woman. Plenty people are offended didn’t like it in fact think it’s insane. Gender is meaningless. Literally no need for anything but ask sex.

What about religious men, religions against homosexuality and you’re asking a male has he had sex with a male? How do you help that minority of religion. They’re out there.

Gender be whatever you want, it’s meaningless, cat people as well? What about them? Send them to a vet?

Also in the process of all these are you deleting woman? What is a woman? I’d also add using sex has been used for the past 200 years with no issues.

if I starting telling you about positive discrimination quotas for jobs(usually ones that are well paid, positions of power, never say binmen or miners or infantry) based on sexual orientation race etc including on boards uk. I’m worried you’ll become so woke you’ll never sleep again.

You are right, the male sex cannot get pregnant. I said a female transitioning, so biologically they may still have a womb, therefore scientifically able to be pregnant. Now if you want to call them a woman, I am not debating that. What I would debate is that we allow that person to define themselves. Why would be up to us how to define another person. If I met you and I said I was from Essex but I never felt I was a southerner because I was brought up in the North, would you get all offended that I would dare to not acknowledge my birth place? It is the same and more of a serious emotional point regarding the sex/gender of a person. I do not understand why they feel the way they do but I am willing to accept it, why do you feel that you have to tell that person how they feel inside.

OK that went away from the science a bit but my point stands that biologically they are different to how they feel and what they want/need to be seen as, it is not hard to accept that. It does not change my life or yours one bit.

Thanks for clarifying, it actually makes sense and is a valid argument. I suppose it will depend on what we are saying is 'oppression'. If we are talking about the specific idea of a one gender area/space then I can see why it could mean that some people are made uncomfortable, I am sure that when girls were first officially allowed in the cubs/scouts, etc. it caused some awkwardness about existing ideologies. However, these ideologies adapt and change through time and there are so many caveats to this argument that it is impossible to talk about in a general sense. For example, what is the space designed for, who are the people using the space, how open are they to different people using the space, etc. and more etc..

You say name, this is something else that people change and is an accepting part of society. I get frustrated when people get my name wrong but I doubt my frustration is even a small part of how frustrated people get when they have legally changed their name and people still call them by their old name, whether that is because of a messy divorce, family issues or even, god forbid, a person changing their gender identity (There is another phrase for you to get all upset and angry about).

Biology is one thing but it is not the only thing, as I mentioned it is a fact that I was born in the south but I don't necessarily identify as a southerner, it is fact that I was born there but that does not change my own thoughts and feelings, does it. You must have feelings that may differ from a biological, geographical, societal facts, somebodies gender compared to their biological fact is no different to this.
