I have a few.

Cahill wasn't that good.
Jagielka isn't that good
Barkley hasn't got what it takes to be a top class midfielder - take anything above $20 (not worth it but someone will pay it) and run
Mirallas - ditto, although I'd take $10m for him
I'd have Rooney back like a shot
I want as new stadium, not to stay at Goodison

Don't let his gash last 12 months kid you....
Cahill was boss. End of.

I feel we attach far too much importance to Liverpool FC. Most (myself included) are guilty of it. Going on about them, cheering their scores when they're losing, even giving them an acronym on here. I was chatting football to a barman the other night while the Europa League final was on and within minutes we we're laughing about the latest raheem-gate slap in the face they'd received... But still talking about them, none the less.

I think it makes the myth that we're "bitter" not seem like much of a myth. Should we forget about them, except for derbies, and just concentrate on Everton?*

*or Everton, if you will.

I think mirrallas is our most overrated player. He is always injured and in 95% of games he offers nothing. He might chip in with the odd goal, but I don't think he had a decent game all season.
Second-highest scorer at the club over the entire duration he has been an Everton player. Despite being "always injured". Second-highest number of assists in the same timeframe, only a couple behind Baines. Cost less than £6m.

Also, I actually prefer last years crest. At least it was an attempt at aspiration and forward thinking. The new one sends out the impression that we are obsessed with sentemence and the 80s.
It was an attempt at aspiration and forward thinking, yes. And those things should never be dismissed out of hand. But there were dozens of fan-created crests posted on here that were better than the beehive abomination.

I think Mirallas 'thinks' he's better than he actually is, which fortunately and unfortunately has both positive and negative effects to his game.

Sometimes he is sublime based mainly on his confidence: mazing runs; great goals; assists; set-pieces. Other times it shows him up...

He's a confidence player and that's why people deem him overrated, but rather I'd describe him as more inconsistent at using his talents.

He can go through real phases of looking lacklustre and simply 'not arsed'; other times he shines well beyond what I actually think he's capable of.

I think that's why people question his actual ability. He's a good player who can swing from being great to pretty dire in an instance.
