Why would Real Madrid want either of them, they cocked up with signing on, it would have been worse if they had signed Carsley.

Met him twice about 2 years apart and he remembered me, first thing he said was "i have met you before yes?" Was fairly stunned by that.

Nice bloke. Enjoyed him as a player too.

Carsley, while 'limited', did that job very well.
