Just imagining for a minute that any of this is true.....
Given the Tata Motors/Jaguar proximity to Finch Farm and the talk of a 'land deal', then it might make sense for Tata to be looking at the eastern portion of the factory site, especially as Jaguar recently relinquished the marshalling yard to the west (by Speke Hall Road, next to the retail park) and the WCML separates the training ground from extreme eastern end of Jaguar. Maybe our great leaders got wind of it and flew out to renegotiate new tenancy rates with the prospective new owners of FF. Of course, all of this land is in Knowsley MBC and not Liverpool.
Or in 2 years we might have a new ground next to FF, outside of the city boundaries, but owned by one of the biggest corporations on the planet.
Or we could still be bust and hoping that Sir Paul McCartney carks it and bequeaths all his possessions to an Evertonian Trust.
