Hiya lads, I'm Daisy Cutter. Really busy today so wont be able to stay around but will be here now for the duration. If this happens then I'll be made up to be honest (as I've said in a previous Cutter piece I've got a lot of blue mates and they're decent lads). If it doesnt then it could be any number of things - source could have been wrong, negotiations went tits-up at some stage, etc
I tried to contact my source last night to gain further info but the person/s wasnt having any of it. They've got into a bit of trouble from doing so. So, at this point in time, I cant add or help in any further way.
To The_La, there has been a mix-up mate. The mate I blabbed to isnt the guy you're referring to. Dont know him (the one who posted the PDF). My mate basically just posted a link to the original Cutter story and said 'What does everyone think of this? Bull****?'
I'm assuming the guy you mean blabbed about Finch Farm around Thursday of last week if it promptly went on Blue Kipper? I was telling blues on Twitter to 'look out for a land deal involving Everton being announced very soon' nine days before that.
Like I say though, at this point I have spilled everything that I know. If anything I'm now seeking info from blues. Like what is around Finch Farm? Never been to Halewood so dont know. Is there sufficient scope for redevelopment for the land that surrounds the training complex? If not this story falls flat because a crucial part of the source's understanding is that there is a huge 40 acre redevelopment planned in and around the Halewood area.

My take on it Halewood being home to Landrover, Jaguar Landrover being owned by Tata Motors, India's largest automobile company Tata Group want land for whatever industry, already have presence in Halewood, so know of possible land available, while looking at this, discover Finch Farm for sale and so are Everton someone from Tata Land informs main board of this as they are aware of the Tatafootballacademy few months down the line we're back in the big time! Here's hoping!

As these takeover rumours seem to pop up at times when season tickets are coming to sale, I'd like to draw attention to this news item from yesterday http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/2011/10/24/half-season-ticket-details.

The rumour came about well before the half price season ticket. Kenwright has not said the usual "I'm speaking to 3 people" (why not six people, or seven? Why only three?), so linking both is a bit ingenuous, though understandable.

Its got some legs, but in all honesty, it could be a deal which has got nothing to do with Everton and someone has put 2+2 = 70.

I'm seriously hoping, but my mantra is whoever it is mustn't simply be a change of the guard, but must address the debt, stadia and player acquisition issue.
