We got bought this morning, sold again in the afternoon and rebought by Bill early evening, hell of a day.......

Quiet is fine. Noone's denied that talks have taken place. Noone's announced that a deal is off. And contrary to what some may believe, the club have got no interest whatever in raising expectations. So any moves probably will happen quietly. Simple transfers can take weeks of negotiations these days. For a big investment deal involving Everton you'd be talking months at the very least. If some source or other confirms in the next few weeks that further talks are happening, then I'll be happy. Though I won't be counting any chickens.
