The Takeover Rumour Thread.

Thing is, if, IF we get taken over, it's gonna result in higher ticket prices, season ticket prices and part of me will miss being sh*te and being the paupers.

Were still the moral winners

Mate of mine who is a steward for home games at city was saying (this stunned me) that their ticket prices have gone considerably DOWN since takeover and apparently an adult ticket is something like £20 (compared to our £31). They've got adult season tickets at a price of £260. Average of 13.50 a game. So it doesn't automatically mean higher ticket prices. Obviously it depends on the owners but it's clear city got the best ones. In every way. FFS.

That's actually brilliant. I think our half season-ticket costs over £200 as it is.

I suppose everyone is a bit on edge hoping that something happens, hence all the high jinx and stuff in the thread.

Loads of sound lids on here posting away, seen a few having a pop at Xavi, shame that as he's a genuinely nice lid and top blue. As are all of you. It's entirely possible to have someone with an entirely different viewpoint to you but be sound with them. Apart from pineapple on pizzarers like.

Lets swerve the usual internet standard of having a word death match with someone who does think different you, it's never been like that on here.

I spoke with Fox earlier who sends his regards, he's taking a wee bit of time out as is best when the place starts getting up your nose. Nice to see LCAB back too. Fox said stuff is ongoing as he said prior. I know absolute sh*te about what's going on like but these things don't tend to be too fast moving so anyone expecting a glorious takeover quick sharp as likely to be disappointed.

In the meantime, stay cool lids.

i'm told the leading group is advanced talks is a group of yanks with the Qatar lot in the background bubbling over . this is from bluefox via sharpystoplip

You know what... I like pineapple pizza >:(

Also, great to hear things are still going on, If I had to choose between indians and americans I would choose Americans because I feel they are more business savey (of course except Liverpools situation)

That's their Value card scheme , where you pay £260 a season and the club allocates you a seat , a different one for each game , I don't know the actual prices but they were increased by 6% at the start of this season

Can't see Bill selling to the Quatar lot, when he's already in talks with another party. Especially if there's any truth in what the roversfan on here is saying in relation to heir take it or leave it approach.
