I think 2-3 quality players is fine. But Martinez has said in a recent interview (USA podcast Counter Attack) that he is looking to bring in 4-5 players.

Lets be honest, he needs to!. he needs to improve on the quality within the first team and add depth to the squad!. We definitely need a back up keeper for starters. For me we need an AMC and possibly a striker, and cover/competition outwide and then maybe IF we have the funds, a CB?!.

Espinoza is actually decent. When played in the midfield he closes down players quickly, reads the game well, good engine, and counterattacks well. If he's given a proper chance, he'll shine in the Championship.

But Everton should be looking for better.

Maybe so mate, but it wouldn't stop Moyes adding his own to the ones already there would it? Maybe I'm wrong, I just remember reading somewhere that our Chief scout either had, or was about to follow him to OT.

If one of those players is Honda, then that would allow Fellaini to drop back into the position he wants to play, was adamant on Fer but if Fellaini stays theres no need.

Think you're right. Possibly enough for an Alcaraz on a free and a low fee for a Nathan Redmond, not much more than that.

I'll be very surprised if we make a signing around 8+ million without selling.

Agreed. As I said all along, I rate Fer a lot and would like to see him at Everton, but if Felli stays, the money is better spend in other areas.

I think Fellaini is the transfer cash this summer. If he's shifted out we may just get that type of signing, yes. My concern is how long that's going to take. We need bodies in for pre-season or we risk being left behind in terms of team cohesion by the start of the season.
