Everton need to take note that this is happening for Spurs.
Do we think that new stadium of ours and its environs would be conducive to generating the type of communal response to save the club's bacon again?
A soul-less anodyne environment like that? A stadium with zero reference apart from badges 50 foot off the ground on the corners of the east and west stands to the team that play in it? A stadium claimed by rugby league and union?
Mate the stadium is far from soulless. We had to move and we have a great stadium with a great atmosphere. We also needed to increase our revenue and taking it in from other sources no-brainer. I disagree with your ‘claimed’ remark also. This has absolutely no bestie impact on the club and brings money in.
Nope
New stadium or not walking out on mass at HT is pretty poor and something we would NOT do as a fan base.
The lesson from spurs is that when go go through as many managers as they have that creates instability and apathy.
Forest are the same and both squads were better than ours it’s the no consistency with the managerial appointments so that’s in the owners.
And there are the similarities with them and Moshiri sacking managers willy-nilly. Panicking seldom pays off.
Poorly run.
CL money means you shouldn't be in their position.
It's easy to blame the stadium and crowd.
Players look like they aren't interested.
That’s what I see. Their heads have dropped. Whereas one thing you ca say about all the tough times we’ve had, the players and fans were certainly not mentally defeated. We had gumption in bucketloads. I do not see that from Spurs. At all. Anywhere.
Looking at their players at FT last night, they may not be in the bottom three just yet but they already look like they’re resigned to the drop. That never bodes well.
