what tends to happen is even when they have those clauses to reduce the wage the majority of players would leave on loan for the season or more in the championship to cover their wages.

Exactly, it’s blatant organised match fixing for the league favs, no consistency at all across the league.

It was a game changer.

What I'm trying to understand here is why would the Premier League help Spurs? Didn't they try to breakaway from the Premier League which would have destroyed the financial income for the Premier League??
