The Sammy Lee Opinion Thread

Think he's genuinely still PO'ed at how they got rid of him a few years ago and loves going back there and sticking them one, even if it's with us. I've heard stories that he was treated very shoddily by people like Dalglish and other ex-team-mates and felt betrayed.

He'll still be an LFC supporter deep down in his heart, things like that never change. I don't mind that as long as long as he gives us 110% which he has been doing so fair play. Even if you love a particular club you can get to the point where you hate the people in power there so badly that you love getting the last laugh over them.

My mother in law ( I've been told by the missus ) was absolutely fuming at him today calling him allsorts for his passion for us. Proper wound her up.

Like you said, he's a Kopite and always will be but keep that crap to himself and earn his money here and he'll get respect from most folk.

They have a long history of treating there own badly, from Shankly to Roy Evans, a truly horrible club on so many levels

heard that and I genuienly thought, that's exactly the type of character you need on the training pitch. him being a scouser n all makes it even better, as he 'defintately' gets what the club is all about.
I agree. Obviously some of our fan base aren’t going to give him any slack, due to his RS links. But as he said in that interview, judge me what I do on the training ground.
Said it before and I’ll say it again. Lee and Shakespeare were both very astute appoints by allardyce. Yes they have some baggage (Lee - RS and Shakespeare - ranieri leaving) but no one can deny, they are both very highly regarded coaches.
