Their fans are behind their club and will stand up for it no matter how poor they are. Some of our fans are the first ones to put the boot into Everton as soon as the first opportunity arises. If we don’t talk ourselves up no one else will.
'Twas ever thus! My dad gave up boss seat in the 50s in upper bullens because the people around him were so critical of the players. It's a grand old team to support!!!

Believe me, Saint, they can do their fair share of moaning too.

Back when we were both successful, it was pretty much like that.

The idea that we don't care about what they say ( or, by association, do ) has always been false though. Obviously we care, but if we're even moderately more successful than them, we care an awful lot less. The fact that you took the time to write this article likely means you care what they say, do and think too. It would be weird if we didn't care.

I don't hate all kopites, I actually know quite a few sound kopites ( all match-going ones as it happens, but I'm not sure that's the whole story ) who are much the same age as me, so have similar values, both in football terms and life. The ones who annoy me are the ones who just turn up in my life when they're doing well, have, despite having the time and cash to do so, hardly ever been to Anfield. Essentially they're followers rather than supporters.
I bet they all drink in the Lisbon with you

So far this season Coutinho, Mane, Salah and Firmino have scored 46 goals.

All our players put together have scored just 35.

I will be genuinely amazed if we get a draw tomorrow.

More concerned with the Newcastle match tbh. Six pointer.

Really good read mate, this bit was interesting. I didn’t know about this.

There will be some legitimate questions as to what doing all of this will do in terms of developing Everton. Johan Cruyff on entering Barcalona declared they had “Real Madritis”- namely that they measured everything in opposition to a perceived (and in many ways actual) victimhood in relation to Madrid. They made themselves the opposite of Madrid, and allowed Madrid to dictate and dominate the context and direction of the conversation. Cruyff noted that you would never be successful as a victim and people had to learn to frame their own club on a set of values that were unique to them and based around a positive message.

Nar I hate them, my option on my break right now was sit in a cafe by the kop full of RS memorabilia or sit in the van with a cold sausage roll from the corner shop, I'm eating a sausage roll

Funny, most of your posts are about Liverpool, and how ‘lucky’ we got against them. You liked Salahs goal though, but you really can’t stand Allardyce.

I take it, without bothering to look up YOUR history of posting, Kev, that you rather ‘support’ sam’s appointment, so have decided to target me - rather unfairly, I believe, by taking me out of context (and that boring old inference of k****e because you disagree with my point of view) - because I obviously don’t.

Perhaps that’s because I like to believe I’m fair minded and not a bigot.
And, yes, like many who enjoy this wonderful game, and its few masterful exponents, I did admire his goal and his style of play, and I really wish we could attract more players of his quality. And who wouldn’t? Surely all those of us who have the best interests of our hallowed club at heart would, or am I wrong in thinking this? I’m sure many of those who forgive sammy Lee his past transgressions - a given by those like yourself that support sam’s appointment - would certainly forgive ‘n’ forget such an acquisition in the unlikelihood this scenario ever prevailed?

Finally check out my previous post of today’s date, seeing’s you seem to enjoy scrutinising them; it might give you an idea of how I feel about sam (for the less observant, I spell sam with a lower case ‘s’ to demonstrate my contempt).

Thank you.

I just think it's curious that's all. Other examples were your suggestions a few weeks ago when we were stinking the place out that we move heaven and earth to sign VVD in January. And that Klopp's pressing system was him just copying what Moyes did but with a german name . The sort of daft stuff that stupid reds might find funny pretending to be everton fans. And your commiserations after the last minute Mane winner at Goodison 'never mind, on another day we might have got a goalless draw'.
and yes, you persist in calling him Alladyce, to show your contempt. and you also called Lukaku, Lakaku. Yes I suspect you are just a windup
