Another poster mentioned earlier you had the likes of NUFC appoint Howe when they were in a similar position, Villa went for Emery, Palace went for Glasner. Going for Moyes just feels like a step back in time. Since he's left us he's had 2-3 good years at West Ham, whose fans couldn't wait to be shot of him. But yes the main aim is staying up and if he achieves that then fair enough.
They were all damaged goods when they were appointed. Emery just got sacked at Arsenal after bombing at PSG. Would people be so quick to want Erik Ten Hag in over Moyes?

I remember loads of people laughing at Newcastle for appointing Howe.

Smart appointment to finally get some stability into the club for the first time since he left.

Mid table/top half for a couple of years while we move into the new stadium and the FFP/PSR situation improve then turn to a long term to challenge for European places consistently.
The forum is short on the ground with this type of fair minded, considered posting.

I had @Goat the other day singing the praises of rats like O'Keeffe and Boyland.

It's amazing how quickly fans forget they were central to backing owners even when they accused fans of criminal activity, but when they write something they agree with all is forgiven.

Zero character.
Didn't mention O"keefe, stop lying.

Records at the big 6 since he left:

United: 1-4-8
Chelsea: 0-4-8
Arsenal: 1*-2-10
Liverpool: 1*-2-10
City: 0-5-8
Spurs: 1*- 2- 9

* denotes the game was played behind closed doors.

So our 1 win true away win in the entire time he's been gone came against himself. God we've been spoilt.
Keep the change, you filthy animal.

Yes that's a fair point although Emery was doing very well at Villareal when he joined Villa I think. Good question re ETH. Most on here would've been up in arms if he was appointed I'd imagine

A teenage Jordan Pickford.
