That Karanka feller. What a stupid man. I knew it after transfer window closed - and after he gave that IDIOTIC interview where he basically Spitted on his club and players - that they would go down.
Even if your board doesnt back you up you just dont do what he did. If I dont remember wrongly they were in relatively good position at that time but downward spiraling started immediately after that .

Moyes has done such a dreadful job with Sunderland.
All he does is sign players he has worked with in the past that were good many years ago, or never any good.
Sunderland has been very flirtatious with relegation for a number of seasons, but they have no hope of staying up this season. And with their current squad it might take some time for them to be promoted back up. Moyes recruitment has been so bad and hard to see how it will improve suddenly. I mean, they sign Oviedo and Gibson in January, are you joking with me?? Two very poor players. Gibson's best talent is his ability to point.

I can't dislike Moyes, even though at times our football was dour, but Sunderland & Middlesbrough can both drop for me, it's a shame Newcastle don't stay down to !!
i guess one negative side effect of the Geordies cratering last year is they're not there to slip beneath you this campaign.
