Always had a soft spot for wolves as a kid. At one point {speak it softly} it was almost 50:50 with me with the beloved Everton.

Happy to see them up.

Happy with Derby too, and I want to see Villa return - too historic a club to be down for long.

Let's see them replace West ham, Newcastle and Liverpool (somehow .... Please).

I can't see us getting promoted. We are way too inconsistent, and struggle against the better teams. If we fail to go up this season, we could be in trouble.

Looks like Wolves will be Champions so I wouldn't mind seeing 2 out of Derby, Bristol City or Sheffield United up from the current top 6. Think Villa might do it though.

Will be very interested to see how Wolves get on next season. Survival should be their first aim, and 14th-15th would be a great season for them. Some on their forum are aiming higher though:

"What I’m saying is Wolves are not going to do a Southampton it’s pretty bloody obvious. We are going to do a Man City powered by the red star of China and I don’t quite understand why people can’t see that."

Wolves have some very, very good players.

That Ruben Neves was sought after by lots of teams in Europe, yet, for whatever friendship, Wolves have with the agent of half these talents, well... it works!

They’ve been able to attract some serious, serious talent.

They’ve got players who have been playing for Monaco, Valencia and Porto first teams in the last couple of seasons, like that Jota, who has been hugely impressive.

I know it’s a big step up the championship to the Premier League, but they’re definitely stronger than a lot of other teams in this league, and it’s clear to see with the distance they have in the championship, that they’re coming up. But where there be optimism, there should come caution. Newcastle have been relegated and struggled immensely on both occasions after being promoted and the first time, they won at a canter. Had it not been for Brighton last year, they would have done so then too.

It does appear in their Far East backers, like wolves may get some significant investment come the summer.

But as we know, it’s not always that simple!
