There's a massive difference: those lads would have to be acknowledeged as overcoming tremendous odds to achieve, not so the other way around.

It's entirely your choice who you want to give support to. You see a british vest and think that's ok whoever's in it. Me, I'm not remotely patriotic and so I go with characters I can at least identify with...funnily enough that doesn't happen to be the shooting and rowing Oxbridge elite who wouldn' piss on you or me if we were on fire.

I agree with you about individuals over a crest or a flag. But there's quite a few individuals wearing the GB vest that have just blown me away with their passion, determination and achievements. The two have overlapped 100x more than they do with say, the England football team.

And as I type Jess is on the podium. Go on girl.
