The arrogance tends to go hand in hand with that class in my experience. Fair play, though. I suppose there's some decent one's amongst thie shooters and rowers. I'd just rather see people from the working class winning.

Mate I'm sure it doesn't matter to you but I actually quite like a lot of your posts & your obviously an intelligent bloke . If someone though posted about various sportsmen being working class scum , ****ged mo off for being an immigrant or had a go lads with youthful criminal records who are representing us as boxers then I'd be appalled and I think many and I'm sure you would be to. It's about a team about people coming together and representing us all and I feel immense national pride for their performances however much if a cliche that is. When taking about arrogance Compared to one of our most succesful ever athletes Daley thompson the long jumper doesn't come close and I loved Daley .

I wanted them to win as I'm going on Tuesday. But look at the women's players they really gave everything. The blokes just didn't look arsed.
