yeh that was the suprise, I didnt see it either, been told its the right call, but unless its a technicality, its pretty hard to get a decision reversed, is it the decision itself thats been reversed or have they DQ'd the Indian lad for spitting his gumshield, or taken points off his card

The AIBA competition jury re-examined the fight and said he'd been warmed only once for holding but had committed 9 holding fouls and also spat out his gumshield as a result they have reversed the decision unanimously .

I think Australia are highlighting why the medals table is stupid. You're in 20th or something despite having 16 medals and 10(!) silvers, because you only have 1 gold.

They should have a points system I reckon, 3 for gold, 2 for silver, 1 for bronze.

Yeah I agree. It makes Bronze medals especially seem rather worthless.

No. I reckon by golds is fair. When it comes down to it, winning is winning. Though, all these silvers are getting hard to take when you know that gold is all that matters.
