Heartbreak in the B-ball 79-78 loss to Spain. No dodgy racism pics this time eh lads.
And every time I watch the boxing I end up moaning here about the scoring, so to keep that run going, the only Romanian boxer there was pummeling either an Uzbek or Khazak and the final round was a whitewash. Scored 3-2 against the Romanian.

Never seen anything like it since RJ jr was robbed 24 years ago. Shameful.

Have to say the boxing commentary is a step above anything else at these Olympics commentary-wise.

Agreed, Woodhall wasnt much of a puncher (see him vs Calzaghe) but he knows and loves his sport to the extent that he has traveled round visiting the camps of the teams training up for this competition. Part of my disgust with the boxing scoring has been a little led by Richie's amazement at the same problem.

How many countries starve their populace to pursue nuclear weapons though? Standard of living and basic cost of living also need factoring in.

Are we witnessing the highest paid athletes singular and total parade around here. 25 - 10 to the USA with 4 mins of the first to go. Just the USA BBall side have personal fortunes that goliath almost every other countries total athlete sponsorship total. Its as mind boggling as the boxing judging.
