Yes! It's Gausha!

My favourite from early on in the competition, where he went mental in the last round to overturn a big deficit and win it by TKO with a second to go.

Does my head in. That was ridiculous. He was battered in the last round and spent the whole thing fleeing... but he won the round?

Indeed - for at least half that bout he looked utterly shattered.

Meanwhile, based solely on how he walked out to the ring, Singh will slap Gaucha (sp?) all over the place.

I don't like how gold trumps everything. North Korea are above teams with way, way, way more medals because they have an extra gold. It seems a bit silly that in theory you could have 50 silver medals and 50 bronze but trail a country with just 1 gold. Surely consistency and a good spread is more impressive than being the best in a single thing (by a tiny margin)?

I agree, I was trying to justify the logic of the Games table to my 12 year old son yesterday - I failed!

Tough draw for Gausha like, but he's lightning quick.

It doesn't matter to be honest. I'm more arsed about the individual contests.

This is an awesome fight. I'll be sad to see Gausha exit because his bouts are bloody entertaining.

Even at the end of the second, come on you nippy yank.

Great game in the Basketball. Looking forward to USA winning by about 40 points now at least

Anthony Davis, the one to watch
