Seen AC/DC, Saxon, Mike + The Mechanics (had like 3 Genesis members and did loads of Genesis songs), Judas Priest, Slade, from the older rock bands.

John Lawton lives in Bulgaria and does July Morning here every year.

Have seen a few bands. ZZ Top and Metallica are great live, as are The Eagles. Have seen them twice also, once with Bernie Leadon.

Not rock groups I know so slightly off topic but I saw Tavares and Heatwave on the empire in 1977 and I'm going to see heatwave again next Friday at the green room, 37 years on. Where's the time gone....?

First gig was the Who at Mountford Hall L'pool Uni in '70 - they did the whole of "Tommy" - went to The Bath Festival same year - Zeppelin, Santana, Byrds etc Favourite gig at the Stadium was Mott the Hoople supporting Free - they blew Free off stage. Original Deep purple line up at St Georges Hall Far far too many to mention since then ....big regret - not seeing Cream (bit too young for gigs then) but got to see Blind Faith in Hyde Park Its been a brilliant experience. Of the bands around today like Elbow and the Arctic Monkeys - seen the former twice. Love music !!

First concert my 'arl man ever took me to was Jethro Tull... Was just a little lad back then...
But still remember jamming out to Locomotive Breath right at the end of the show!
