As bad as they've both been, I think an added dampener for them will have been the managerial improvements Everton and Wolves made and the good results that have come with it.Ipswich and Leicester only gained 4 points since Jan 5th.
It doesn't matter who we appointed manager we'd still probably be clear of relegation this year.
Well 2-3 months ago we most definitely were in a relegation battle2-3 months ago we all thought we was in a relegation battle. Now hopefully we will finish above West ham, Man Utd and Spurs
If Everton don’t pick up any more points for the rest of the season, Ipswich only have to win 6 of their remaining 7 games and could even afford to draw the 7th game. If that happens, we’re down.
I know most of you are used to being premature, but in this instance, it’s dangerous to declare ourselves safe and allow complacency to pervade through the club. We’re not safe until we’re on the entry list for next season’s Premier League roster.
So if we had taken Van Nistoroy in November instead of Leicester we would still be safe ?Ipswich and Leicester only gained 4 points since Jan 5th.

I think we would've been reasonably comfortable under Dyche in the end, but it would be a lot closer than it is now. I'd say we would probably be on about 27-30 points by this stage under him. Which is poor, but is still better than Ipswich would've managed.Sean Dyche was trying to draw his way out of relegation. But also that playing song of the most outdated mind numbing football we’ve ever seen. We couldn’t buy a goal never mind a win
Everton being in and around the bottom would have given the others more hope and certainly a closer gap.
I think with the benefit of hindsight now, given the lack of points progress any of the current bottom three have made, it is likely we would have pulled away at a similar points to games ratio that Dyche had achieved up to the point, so I think we would have been safe - we just would not have had the level of comfort in doing so and the slightly more cohesive style of football that Moyes has brought in.
Just a little disappointed that there will be none of the last day relegation drama this year now that it doesn’t include us. The last few years has had plenty of drama but we’ve been involved so it’s been stressful.
No not for me, I’m not bothered about Sky but I do like a bit of last day drama, and there won’t be any this year. Focus is always still on Everton but it’s good to see the absolute unparalleled joy and equal measure despair of other supporters as I’m meanThe title race is decided, the relegation spots are decided.
I`m absolutely made up that Sky and the rest of them won`t have their big day out come the last game of the season.
Maybe they`ll focus on the lower leagues, if their promotions and relegations aren`t decided and give them a bit more attention for a change ?
