The Now-Irrelevant 2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

Threshold will be about 36 points, we're a quarter of the way there with a quarter gone and we should have more.

It is, but given the fixtures we should have been between 13-15 surely.

I am not content just finishing 17th. As bad as our squad is, it is good enough to reach 45p.

1st loss in 6 games and unlucky to lose at that.

We have blocks of games under Dyche where we pick up points then a bigger block of games where we dont.

All in all it's a pattern that'll keep us more than safe.

The unlucky and lucky can be tipped either way. Even the most optimistic Everton fan will admit we were lucky to come away with a point at home against Fulham and Newcastle.
We generally dont deserve points most weeks. Sadly.

I’m not flapping about relegation at all. I believe our next manager will have us comfortable. If Sean Dyche is still our manager in February then I’ll be joining you in here flapping about Ipswich’s results.
