The Now-Irrelevant 2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

We'll be bubbling away just above the relegation spots for much of the season. But we have the players who can get goals...and goals determine who goes down or not. And we have Branthwaite to come back in.

Relegation doesn't even enter my considerations anymore. It's just not an issue.

This is a contradiction.

Any idea when these players are going to start chipping in some of these goals because the last couple of games we don`t look like we do.

I’m not flapping about relegation at all. I believe our next manager will have us comfortable. If Sean Dyche is still our manager in February then I’ll be joining you in here flapping about Ipswich’s results.
I am counting the days until January, if we make some genuine smart purchases we should be able to enjoy our final few months at Goodison instead of the potential of another Bournemouth final day which I think would be too much for the players this time with the added pressure of going down in the final year of Goodison.

I think the first priority for the new owners should be to remove this manager before we even start thinking about buying players. I don’t want to see any Dyche approved signings brought into this squad.

We may already have done, if Broja comes good. Signing him on deadline day shows that the management team weren't happy with Calvert Lewin and Beto. Hopefully a good piece of forward planning.

Actually quite hilarious to see the Dyche fans that were insisting 11th/12th was their expectation through the summer, having to do a hard pivot and change the bar of acceptance to 17th place and 36 points by November.

I still think at least 12th and i really am not a Dyche fan.

If it stays as tight mid table as it is now a win/loss could move you several places at the season's end.

We will not be relegated.
