I am not so sure. Its a while till the result, granted, but imo his (Boris) behaviour so far has been appalling. And I dont mean what did or didnt happen in his girlfriends flat. ]

Its his craven cowardice at not doing most of the TV stuff; his awful non answers on anything of substance, and his utterly empty rhetoric that he cannot stop spouting.

That tax cut idea went down awfully as well.

Tory party members get short shift on here, not surprisingly. But one thing they hate is being taken for granted.

I hope they come out of their collective hypnosis and realise what an oaf the man is.
If Hunt can manage to get a debate or two in before the voting starts he can demolish Boris by simply being better briefed.

I think his "popularity" is way out of kilter with the reality. I may well be well off beam, but like a lot of people, the hard core Tory membership do not like being told what to do/taken for granted.

Their conclusion might be who can beat Corbyn in a GE. If so, bets off.

after getting his mates in the papers to go after his neighbours, and now his girlfriend?
 
Boris lead crashing in the polls, he's an absolute clown, why has he not just faced it head on and said I had a row with my girlfriend, he'd have got even more popular for being honest and people can relate to that, it would have improved his chances possibly handling it in the right way.

His team have advised him badly on this one.

The worrying thing is that his evident character flaws have been well known for years, yet people were happy to hold their nose and support him anyway. It shouldn't have even required this latest episode to show people what he's like.
