We're heading for hooray henrys manning the controls like in the general strike.
The AES the governing body for job agencies, have told the government on 3 occasions that there members will not be providing any staff.
At the moment it's illegal and even if it wasn't they don't have access to a pool of workers to do the jobs.
The AES is global and part of the conditions to join is you conform standards to the parameters they set which part of is not to provide staff to employees who are engaged in strike action.
The companies that did it for the and O dispute are in trouble and can't get any further work as they are not members of the AES and large customers look to that as a must.
Government talking crap again.
They could start scab agencies with no standards
That would suit them to a t
I got the full 6 page offer of the government offer last night it means job cuts , a reduction of temp and conditions , real pay, and the pension age going up and a restriction of what the employee and employer can contribute 1.%and 1.5 and new members can't join for 2 years meaning the pensions that people have worked for over the years suddenly become next to worthless.
Plus every station shut.
Lots of others stuff as well, 2% this year 1% next.
Never in a million years will anybody sign up for that.
