What a hill to die on ….No, but he will deliver what I want for the U.K….

I could understand this level of him being obnoxious and arrogant about the situation if he was an Eton schooled Tory, but by the amount of time he spends on GOT, I’m guessing that’s actually rather far from the truth.
Comes across a bit like my arl fella, who was born in poverty in the south end of Liverpool, still doesn’t have a lot, but comes out with the most incredible mental gymnastics to validate himself voting Tory.
When I last challenged his opinion on Boris Johnson, he started banging on about Tony Blair, like that was going to deflect from what is actually going on.
I think it’s a generation thing, added to the fact that they don’t give a toss about anything but themselves, added to the fact that they are happy to turn a blind eye rather than admit they’ve backed a wrongun.
At what cost? No, but he will deliver what I want for the U.K….
Sounds quite selfish to me, not very British at all. You believe that what you want for the UK is in the best interests of the country, therefore you will support a man that brings that. The question is, what is your red line? at what point does he become unpalatable to you? There are other people that could deliver brexit and a vaccine rollout, it is not unique to Alexander, so where is your line? No, but he will deliver what I want for the U.K….
I’m not, I’m trying to open sensible debate which you seem incapable of.Why are you getting so wound up?…..
To be honest I’m quite embarrassed of him, he seems morally bankrupt.Your dad sounds like a sensible person…..
Yeah, blame Boris because a bunch of anti-vaxxers led by Piers Corbyn calls Starmer a traitor etc etc…..
I look at what is really going on, not the media whipped up hysteria that is lapped up by the rest of you. Bunch of lefty anti-vaxxers wound up by Piers Corbyn call Starmer a traitor…but it’s all Boris’ fault………Not a single one of you will say anything about Piers, just because his surname is Corbyn…….

I bet pete will come back and say something like 'an illegal war like tony blair'

Didn't answer my question. You can trivialize it all you want as just 'having a cake or wine and cheese' but you know full well its more than that. It is flagrant rule breaking at a time when he was personally telling us all to do the opposite.Theresa May could not deliver Brexit, and she was quite a competent PM. But she didn’t have the drive and exuberance to carry people with her and she failed. Most of the rest of the Tories are lightweights and Starmer is a complete waste of space. So for me I hope he stays and sees it all through. I can’t get wound up about him having a cake or wine and cheese, and I agree with what he said about Starmer (not that he personally did sod all, but that he was in overall charge at the time)…….

It was found before the last election that there were accounts created to post support for the conservatives. All the fake accounts were designed to be as neutral as possible , so covering all minorities, noble professions etc.The Twittersphere has apparently been inundated overnight with messages supporting the buffoon.
Strangely they are all exactly the same and mostly linked to accounts claiming allegiance to football clubs to give them street cred.
As if any self respecting footy fan would be deceived by such blatant gibberish.
