There's the lack of empathy again. 'Manufactured angst'? Totally ignoring the genuine pain and outrage of people whose loved ones died alone while those who ordered it laughed and giggled while having the 'few drinks' you so easily brush over. Twelve months after the event as that's when they got caught ?

It's difficult to know what going on as I have him on ignore, but I'll assume he's suggested that 'a few drinks' doesn't undo the amazing vaccine programme and Brexit triumphs?

Away from this valiant attempt to lick Johnson back to life, I do think its a massive mistake from Labour to not have a by-election for this defector.

I bet half of Bury if not more don't even know the guy's name that they voted for before today.
I just don't imagine !any people around the country go, oh I really like the sound of this dude or dudette. It don't matter which party they are in, I am voting for them.

Wakeford co sponsored a private members bill mandating compulsory by-elections for any MP who voluntarily defects parties, back in 2020. Shame his former Party did not run it with given their overwhelming majority, oh well the past certainly has developed habit coming back biting hard on Tory arses recently...
