Good grief could it to be true, Benny and Boris gone by months end, mere wishful thought at the weekend...lol @ David Davis quoting Amery quoting Cromwell
Urgh imagine living in Bury South. Be proper grim choicesi've just seen his voting history, yikes
I chose him as he was an actual alternative to your hero during the leadership campaign, and I wouldn't say he was perfect, merely better than Johnson. I'm trying to pick someone from the Tories to be fair, and that's made quite difficult due both to my lack of knowledge of the Tory backbenchers and the fact that Johnson has stuffed his cabinet full of absolute cretins. Maybe Tobias Ellwood? He generally seems to come across quite well.
Incidentally, I'm curious in what universe Johnson fulfills any kind of leadership requirement. You think he's popular, I get that, but popularity isn't a leadership quality.
This clueless numpty will cling on for dear life even though nobody wants him
150,000 people have died Pete. How on earth is that something to crow about?…
If he gets through this then he will win the next GE.
In the words of a Democrat strategist back in 1992 “It’s the economy, stupid”.
On the plus side, Boris moved parliament out of paralysis and took us, as voted, out of the EU. The Pandemic has been handled well and the U.K. is now the first country in Europe to start freeing restrictions. He kept businesses afloat and workers paid and we now have record unemployment, record numbers in work and the economy has recovered to pre-pandemic levels, again the best within the G7.
On the negative side, he had a few glasses of wine and told a few porkies about it…..

Whatever the figure is now, it's considerably higher per capita than fellow wealthy nations in Europe, such as France, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway et al. To try and label that a success is akin to some of the blatant lies Johnson repeatedly tells in parliament.175,000 you mean
Pandemic handled well....except for the bit where they forgot about the old folk and they all died then gave millions and millions of our pounds to their mates with absolutely zero experience or even connection to PPE. Oh my!…
