I'm sure you don't succumb to the charismatic/heroic leader trope Pete? It's a bit old fashioned these days.

So we have a bloke who was, in your eyes, given a nothing job by the person you voted for as the last PM, and yet despite neither convincing his fellow MPs at the time, nor it seems the prime minister, that he could do anything remotely grown up, we're to believe that he can move mountains with the EU where previously none could be moved?

I'm a little bit concerned you might think he can part the red sea as well Pete.

Try looking at it from the opposite point of view......

Bruce, in the assumption that Boris gets appointed, who would you rather have as PM of the U.K. at the next GE.

There are only 3 real candidates, Boris, Corbyn or Farage.....so go ahead, pick one......

Boris is it?

Thank you, thank you, thank you to the UK Conservative Party for handing a historic win to an actual left-wing Labour party in the upcoming General Election.

 I'm not sure you can act as though such a scenario is one foist upon you Pete as both Johnson and Farage are direct consequences of the act you have supported. My vote were there to be an election in the not to distant future would be for Jo Swinson. As Kersti Kaljulaid and Jacinda Arden have aptly shown, sometimes just being a decent person is a good start point for a leader, and I'm not sure you could say that about any of those three.

But realistically, one of the 3 will be PM. So which one would you prefer as the least obnoxious......
